| Dragon Port - Spoiler:
Dragon port is named this because of an aquatic dragon that used to live under the city's bay. In a deep cavern that actually rests under the city itself. Its a town of hustling merchants, bringing their goods from the other lands, mostly on their way to Turil or Four Winds. Dragon Port is not a prospering city, the only benefit from having such a large and frequented port is the lodgings for ships and their crews. Dragonport doesn't participate in much trade, as the city and its citizens have everything they need right here. The mayor, Gregory Hillentop, lives a noble life of not doing much at all. A overly large man, in an overly large house. Dragonport it a big city though, not even most of the action happens on the docks or waterfront. This is a city of mixed races and cultures, mixed relgions and definitions of 'good'. Dragonport produces adaquate scholars, expert fishermen and seamen alike. It also boasts as one the maker of the finest ships in all Gernada. Even though its a large city, its a calm one. Not to much trouble happens here, everyone seems to get along, well enough anyways. Guilds in the city consist of Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, Fighters Guild and a Seafarers Guild. The Mages Guild produces low level mages, among the bottom ranks of any other guild in Gernada. It resides in the northwestern part of the city (6) and is quite small. The Fighters Guild on the other hand produces capable fighters, although not near as good as Black Wall's or Turil. Located just south of the Mages Guild, (the bottom 6) its only slightly bigger. The thieves guild is mostly kept secret, or at least their buisness is. Everyone knows they exist but live like they don't. Except the guards, the local Dragon Claws. The seafarers guild owns its own port along Dragon bay, (12) and is busy throughout the year. Even in the winter they are seen on the icy waters, training new recruites and testing new ship designs.
People of IntrestGregory Hillentop - Spoiler:
Gregory is the fat, lazy and unashamed mayor of Dragonport. He looks over buisness as he is suppose to but other than that, he does nothing at all. Lounging around his private estate (6 in the middle of the town) near the middle of the city. A castle was built for him, a decade ago. He has his own crops, lake, and a large training ground for his personal guards. All within the high walls surrounding his property. An over weight man, with a very plump belly, he stands just over five feet tall. Brown curly hair, matching bark colored eyes. His fat face show demples and multiple chins when ever he talks or laughs. Usually clad in the finest silks of Red and Green, coming from Turil of course. Captian Eldera Havenspack - Spoiler:
Eldera is the captain of the Dragon Claws. The Dragonport authorities. She is the diplomatic type of person. Preferring to talk about deterrments rather than harsh fines or prison sentences. A tall female, just over six feet tall, she has long blond hair, blue eyes and a very impressive body. Clad in her usual attire of a chain shirt and leather greaves, she straps a great sword to her back, for the times diplomacy doesn't work. She spends most of her time doing political things for Dragonport, and is often not seen for weeks as she is tied up in the guard barracks or the county hall.
Gaven - Spoiler:
Gaven is Eldera's second in command. Gaven would rather behead someone for sneering, rather than give them a fine or harsh tounge lashing. Unfourtunatly for the criminals and innocent citizens of Dragonport, Gaven is on call 24/7. He patrols the city on horse back, with his small band of like-minded-riders (4 of them) . At night, all one must do is knock on his door and he would be up and ready for the fight, lackeys in tow. Gaven is a medium sized and built human, black hair, scruffy beard and brown eyes. A scar on his left cheek, a deep one at that, his hair is cropped very short, nearly bald. He wears the red dyed armor most of the Dragon Claws wear, but his is Half-plate, instead of the normal breastplate. The black dragons claw on the left side chest of every suit of armor proves to everyone the riders are in fact, who they say they are.
Rumoodle Boardhipper- Spoiler:
A gnome. Rumoodle is one of the top Seamen in the Seafarers guild. He designs the ships, supervises them being built and is one of the best fisherman to ever sail from Dragon Bay. His designs have made Dragonport most of its profitable money in the last two decades (hence the Mayors estate) and he is very proud of himself and his crew. Rumoodle is your normal gnome, kinda. He dresses in simple leathers, a brown cloak at times, a red head band keeps his gray hair from flying about. His crooked nose and blue eyes seem odd together as well. Being just under four feet tall, his quarters have been specialy built to suit him. He commands a ship, The Rum, and a crew of fifteen expert sailors. Among these sailors are two wizards and a cleric. The rest are all capable of fighting the monsters at sea, and running the ship themselves. He walks the docks of the Seafarers guild for most of the day. Giving lessons about this or that, overseeing the work and teachings being done. When busy though, Rumoodle offers his ship at a fair price, to go pretty much where ever a traveler would like. He's been known to embark on his own journeys though, and not come back for months.
