Battle Tactics Thread

Anyone have any suggestions on how we should move in a formation? What kind of tactics we could use?

We have;
1Dwarven fighter: Dorik
1 Dwarven barbarian: Unard
1 Gnome sorcerer/rogue: Ginoma- NPC
1 Human Cleric: Yorin-NPC
1 Half-elven Wizard: Revooth
1 Elven Ranger/Druid: Seveliss

Natrualy, I believe Seveliss should be the 'scout' or what not. While Unard would be the 'tank', Dorik being a commander/ 'point' of our attack.
Yorin and Ginoma hanging inthe back to cure/buff our party, or mess with our foes indirectly. Revooth in the middle, launching spells or possibly flying above the party, if/when his cloak allows?

Any other thoughts suggestions? Honestly Im just bored, and had been thinking of this most of the day, figured why not put it out publicly?

Actually Dorik should be tank. He will have a better AC when he doesn't move to attack. Right now Dorik has an AC of a 22 when he moves in to fight, and a 24 if he doesn't move at all. Unard has a 18 AC with the same hit points as Dorik so there really isn't a need for him to try to be tank when Dorik is around unless we get attacked from two sides

hmm, didn't look at it like that, an actually thinking about it, your right. A fighter would be a better tank character, while the barbarian the 'point' of our force.

My mistake!

and especially since Dorik will become Dwarven Defender from the DMG. He is going to try to get his AC as high as it can be.
